At FYSA LLC, we provide professional, safety-first firearms training focused on responsible ownership and real-world preparedness. Our mission is to equip individuals with the knowledge, skill, and confidence to handle firearms safely, legally, and responsibly.
The company is led by William J. Walker, Owner/Instructor, and Mike Kaplela, Instructor, alongside certified professionals—including Range Safety Officers credentialed through the National Rifle Association. Our programs serve both beginners and experienced shooters, emphasizing not only marksmanship, but safety, legal awareness, and sound decision-making.

Yes—full payment is required to secure your seat.
Enrollment is not confirmed until full payment is received at the time of registration.

No—all payments are non-refundable.
All deposits and payments are non-refundable. Please review your schedule carefully before registering.

Yes. One reschedule is permitted with proper notice.
Payments may be applied to another class within twelve (12) months of the original payment date with the following notice:
Standard Classes: Minimum 48-hour cancellation notice
Instructor Classes: Minimum 7-day cancellation notice
Only one (1) transfer is allowed within the 12-month period.

No—live ammunition is strictly prohibited.
Live ammunition is not permitted in the classroom at any time. Secure storage is provided for ammunition and any lawfully carried firearms during class.

A valid government-issued photo ID is required.
All students must present a current government-issued photo ID.
Students in possession of a pistol must also present a valid New York Pistol License or other lawful authorization at the beginning of class.
